I'm gonna try to invite Leslie and Heather today if I can, because I know they're NANOWRIMOing it too. I see Leslie's email on the slushpile, but I've no idea what Heather's is. As for outlining, this character has been my bed-time story for a few months now, so I consider that already started. I have no idea how to end the story, but oh well. That'll be fine. I hope this blog works out okay -- I was a little bit thinking a yahoo group might be more appropriate, because then we could have file space to post chapters as well. But blogs are more convenient, I think, so we can give this a try!

Thanks for the invite, Kaye! I told the bfriend about getting my very first blog, and he asked me if it was contagious. Har har har.
Oh, and K, don't forget that you can do all the outlining you want. But I feel your pain on this one.
However, I'm wondering when the cutoff date for new material should be. Maybe I should write nothing that happens after the 1st. However, I think it's going to end up being nothing before November 30. My life is moving so fast right now that new and notable (and most importantly, recordable with strong encryption enabled) things are happening every day.
And I'm struck with occasional bouts of doubt when the little voice inside says that 23 is too young to write anything autobiographical. Of course, that's when I silence the voice (whose name may or may not be 'Reason') with the note that I'll only be 23 for another 3 hours.
God, birthdays make me maudlin.
But if you don't hear from me this weekend, it's because I'll be on the road. Have fun with the Nanowrimo meetup; sorry I'll miss it.
